AGM 10th November 2017: Weaver Primary School
Our AGM will take place on the 10th November – as part of a Christmas social event. The AGM is an important and vital part of the club calendar: it is where we vote a new committee and set forward our ability to run as a BC affiliated club for the following year. All members are entitled to stand for any committee position. You will need a proposer (this could be yourself) and a seconder. We will be sending a ballot paper out to all members in the next few days.
The committee positions are as follows:
- Welfare Officer
- Safety Officer
- Social Secretary
- Pool Secretary
- Equipment Officer
- Website Development / maintenance Officer
- Junior Representative
If you would like to join the committee in any of the above roles, please let us know as soon as possible once we have issued the nomination slips.
Our Winter pool sessions start again in November – every Wednesday from 9 pm to 10 pm at Whitchurch Swimming Centre. All are welcome. We will be having specific sessions for those who do not have boats and also for those who do have their own kit. February will be set aside for our indoor Introduction to Paddling course. Bookings for all sessions will be advised via e-mail – booking is essential and will be co-ordinated by our pool secretary, Julie Potter.
